The File Assistant lets you ask questions about an individual file and get context-aware answers. Open a file, start a chat, and ask what you need to know, whether that is a summary, a specific figure, or an explanation of a section.
Grounded in the file
The Assistant answers from the contents of that file. It does not invent facts from outside the document, so its replies stay tied to what is actually in front of you. If something is not in the file, it cannot answer it.
How to use it
- Open the file you want to explore.
- Start a chat with the File Assistant.
- Ask questions in plain language and refine as you go.
Credits and limits
- Your plan includes 10 AI credits per month.
- Add-on credits are available if you need more.
