Market Lens
What Market Lens does
Market Lens shows how your business shows up online, how much people can trust what they find, and what to do next. It works per location, so multi-site businesses can look at each place on its own.
Visibility and Credibility
Two scores out of 100 sit at the top of Market Lens:
- Visibility: can people find you? It combines your Google rankings for the searches you track, how often AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude) name you, your site's technical health, Google Search Console and how often you appear in the Google map.
- Credibility: once they find you, do they trust you? It combines your Google rating and reviews against the businesses shown beside you, how AI assistants describe you, whether AI answers use your website as a source, trust signals on your site (About, Contact, Privacy and Terms pages, contact details, business details) and how many other sites link to you.
Local business or online business
When you run a check, tell Market Lens what kind of business it is under About the business:
- Local business: found on the Google map and judged on its Google reviews.
- Online business or product: the map does not count. Reviews come from review sites such as G2, Capterra and Trustpilot. If a company owns the product (for example, a software product of a larger firm), add that company's name and website, and its Google reviews are used when the product has none of its own.
You can also add other names people search for, such as a product name or a short name.
Each score shows the evidence behind every part, and a ranked list of what to do next, with a button that takes you to the right place to fix it. You can assign any fix to a teammate as a task, export the report as a PDF, and follow the score over time in its history chart.
How accurate is the score?
A check never stops because something is missing. Anything that cannot be measured yet (for example, Search Console not connected) is left out, and the score shows its confidence: High, Estimate or Rough estimate. The page tells you what to connect for a more accurate score.
Running a check
Select Run check on the Visibility page, the Credibility page or the Market Lens overview. One check audits your website and asks the AI assistants about your searches, and updates both scores. It uses 3 credits: 2 for the site audit and 1 for the AI answers check. Results usually arrive within a few minutes.
What things cost
Every Market Lens button shows its price in credits before you run it, and every result shows what it used afterwards. Your OPS Credits page lists each charge by name, for example Market Lens · Site audit (example.com).
- Full check (Visibility and Credibility): 3 credits
- Site audit on its own: 2 credits
- AI answers check: 1 credit
- Competitor scan: 2 credits per competitor
- Competitor suggestions: 1 credit, at most once a day per location
- Content Studio: blog post or landing page 0.5 credits, page metadata 0.25 credits, plus 0.5 credits for a hero image
Only finished runs are charged. A run that fails uses no credits.
To keep your scores current, add a scheduled scan in Market Lens Settings and choose Full check. You can also turn on alerts for when a location's Visibility or Credibility score drops.
Track competitors
Keep an eye on the businesses you compete with. The Competitors page compares your Google rating, reviews, map presence and AI citations with theirs, and suggests businesses Google shows beside you that you may want to track.
Monitor your AI search visibility
More and more people ask AI tools for recommendations. Market Lens shows whether your business is named for your searches, and which websites the AI answers rely on, so you know where to be listed.
Write and publish content
Content Studio writes blog posts, landing pages and page metadata for the searches you want to rank for. Open a draft to preview it, then choose where it goes:
- Publish to your site: put it on one of your OPS360 websites, live straight away or as a draft you review in the website editor first. Afterwards you can view it live, open it in the editor, update it, or take it offline.
- Use on another site: if your website is hosted elsewhere, copy the post as formatted text (it pastes cleanly into WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Google Docs), as HTML or as Markdown, or download it.
Per-location view
Because insights are scoped to each location, you can focus on the areas that need attention rather than sifting through one blended report. When two or more locations have a website, the overview also shows both scores for every location side by side. A location without a website cannot be checked until you add one to it.
Settings
Market Lens Settings opens on Sites: every website your business owns and whether Market Lens has checked it. Sites set on your locations and your OPS360 websites appear on their own, and you can add others. The other tabs are Connections (Google Analytics and Search Console), Scheduled Scans and Alerts.
Turn those content ideas into posts with Social Planner.
