Delete your OPS360 account and data
This page explains how to ask for your account and personal data to be deleted in the OPS360 apps published by Delisys Technologies Ltd:
- OPS360: the staff app (Android and iOS), and the OPS360 web app
- OPS360 Connect: the app for a business's employees and customers
- OPS360 POS: the point-of-sale till app
It applies to accounts in all the regions we serve: the United Kingdom, India and the United States.
Who acts on your request
OPS360 is a business platform. If a business (an employer, or a company you buy from or book with) gave you your OPS360 account, that business controls your account and the records about you. It is the data controller; Delisys Technologies Ltd is its data processor.
So when we receive a deletion request for one of these accounts, we pass the request details to that business, and the business takes action. We help it carry the deletion out. The business may have to keep some records by law (see what is deleted and what is kept).
If you own or administer the business account itself and want to close it, you deal with Delisys directly (see step 2).
How to request deletion
Request deletion in the app
Sign in, then:
- OPS360 app: tap your profile picture (top right) → Settings → Privacy → Request Data Deletion. Give a reason and confirm.
- OPS360 web app: click your profile picture (top right) → Privacy → Request Data Deletion.
- OPS360 Connect: tap Profile → Privacy & data → Request data deletion → Submit.
- OPS360 employee portal (web): Profile → Privacy → Request data deletion.
- OPS360 POS: the till app has no deletion option of its own. If you also sign in to the OPS360 app or web app, request it there; otherwise use step 2.
Your request goes straight to the business's OPS360 account administrator, who reviews it and acts on it.
Or email us
If you can't sign in, can't find the option, or want to close a whole business account, email privacy@ops360.net. Please include:
- your name;
- the email address or phone number on the account;
- the name of the business or company the account belongs to;
- which app you use (OPS360, OPS360 Connect or OPS360 POS);
- whether you want specific records or the whole account removed.
Business owners and administrators: please email from the address held on the account.
We verify and pass it on
We verify every request before acting on it, so we may ask you to confirm your identity. For an account a business gave you, we then pass the request details to that business. The business decides what can be erased and takes action, and we assist it. For a business account closed at its owner's request, we carry out the deletion.
Your data is deleted
Once the deletion is carried out, personal data is removed from live systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, as set out in our Data Retention Policy. Each deletion is logged, and confirmation is available to the business's administrators on request.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted
When your deletion request is carried out, the following is deleted:
- Your profile and account details, and your sign-in (login) details
- Device and push-notification tokens, and your app settings and preferences
- Other personal data the business has no legal duty to keep, for example your files, messages and AI assistant conversations
Kept for a legal period, then deleted
The business may have to keep some records about you by law, even after a deletion request. These are kept only for the required period and then deleted:
- Payroll, payslips, tax, invoices, payments and other financial records (including timesheets used to calculate pay): 6 years (UK), 8 years (India), 7 years (US)
- Signed documents and e-signature audit trails: 7 years
- Records under a legal or regulatory hold (for example employment records such as right-to-work checks): for as long as the hold or statutory minimum requires
- Deletion audit logs: a minimal record that a deletion happened (no message content) for 3 years, or 7 years where financial or contractual data is involved
Backups: copies of deleted data may remain in encrypted, in-region backups until those backups expire, within 90 days, and are then purged.
The full list of categories and periods is in the Data Retention Policy.
